Customer contacted us about wanting to Retrofit and existing Unconditioned Metal Building to a Conditioned Metal Building specifically for maintaining a Cold Room type atmosphere.
After visiting the site and further discussions with the customer to understand their application we suggested going with 2lb. Density Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation.
In all we installed Primer first, then 3” inches of Spray Foam on the Ceiling, 2” inches of Spray Foam on the Walls and completed the application with the required thickness of Intumescent Thermal Barrier Coating (Fireproofing) over the installed Spray Foam.
