The winery owner of this old structure wanted to keep the rustic look it had naturally come by over the years. After having a general contractor do substantial upgrades to the structure we went to work on the old metal roofing system. Our scope include a thorough cleaning, masking detail, rust prohibitive primer, 1 ½” inches of 3 lb. roofing foam and two coats of elastomeric coating with granules mechanically broadcasted into the top coat. The granules where a close match in color to the existing old metal roofing thus helping to keep the desired look which will only get better over time as the roofing system collects dust. In addition to stopping leaks, our applications provide some R-value and reduced a vibration problem the wine maker had due to a very load stereo system he enjoys listening to.
